We have 8 showrooms situated at Airside near Swords, a further 4 at Navan Road and our Bray dealership. Local management are supported by a central management function based at Airside.
As a result of our ongoing expansion and business growth, we are seeking to appoint a positive and motivated individual to manage the Group human resource function.
About the role
The Group HR Manager will be responsible for the human resource function for a multi-disciplinary team of more than 200 employees. Areas covered include recruitment, training, career development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop planning strategies with line managers based on immediate and long-term staff requirements.
- Recruit staff after preparing job descriptions and terms of employment in coordination with line managers.
- Shortlist applicants for interview using a variety of selection techniques and interview candidates.
- Advise on remuneration packages and matters such as promotion and benefits.
- Manage payroll function.
- Maintain staff records using Group HR system, NaturalHR, and ensure that training records for all staff are kept up to date.
- Interpret and advise on employment legislation.
- Develop and implement policies on various workplace issues such as disciplinary procedures, absence management and equal opportunities.
- Listen to grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
- Work with Manufacturers and Distributors to ensure that Dealer standards relating to staff and their employment conditions are maintained.
- Health and Safety and GDPR compliance
- Review attendance records and coordinate with line managers.
- Administer Employee Assistance Programme to provide staff welfare support.
- Prepare and design HR reports and provide key HR data insights and statistics including absenteeism, benefits, and retention data.
- Update and further develop Employee Handbook.
Qualifications, Skills & Work Experience:
- Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent professional body.
- Experience working within an HR function with responsibility for in excess of 50 employees.
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes including performance management, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Business awareness and commercial focus.
- Leadership and strong management skills.
- Technical competence.
- Integrity and approachability.
- Knowledge of Irish Employment law
