We are currently looking for Apprentice Motor Technicians ( all levels)
About the Role:
You will undertake training in the maintenance, service, and repair activities on vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times. To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly, and economical way at all times.
To care for customers’ vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
Role responsibilities:
We are currently looking for Apprentice Motor Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will:
- Gain a formal qualification and work with a team of experienced professionals
- Receive ongoing training and career development opportunities
- Ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.
- Maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
- Attend internal and external training courses, as directed by management.
- Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Ensure all work is carried out by observing safe working practices of self and others.
- Check level and quality of work through the use of diagnostic equipment and road testing.
- Complete relevant service documentation in accordance with requirements.
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have successfully completed a Leaving Certificate
- Be in process to get a full valid B licence
- Be willing to learn, with excellent attention to details
- Good communication skills
- Be punctual and show initiative
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
