With its sleek and clean silhouette, DS N°8 combines fluidity, elegance and precision. The sensual and refined surfaces of the sides contrast with the crafted and sharp lines of the front and rear, for a design that is both futuristic and timeless.
A two-coloured bonnet, inspired by the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept, hides a feat of technology that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. With the paintjet process, the solid coloured lacquer provides a perfect finish without the need for solvents or curing for peak sustainability. This technology enhances the vehicle's elegance while conjuring up the legacy of the greatest luxury cars past and present, a first-class masterpiece.
Inspired by the DS E-TENSE PERFORMANCE concept car, the V-shaped vertical LED light signature visually places the car on the road and asserts its width and status by highlighting electrification and technology.
It is crowned by 8 diamond-shaped LEDs aligned horizontally, taking the shape of the famous "Clous de Paris" embossed inserts, echoing the interior trim. The front is enhanced by the DS LUMINASCREEN grille which lights up and comes alive with shafts of light, like so many entrancing shooting stars.
At the rear, three-dimensional lights in a line with scale-effect patterns display a spectacular light that makes DS N°8 so individual and recognisable every time it passes by. These shafts of light enable airflow to be improved.
DS N°8 pushes the boundaries of comfort to offer peak well-being whatever the season. The high level of thermal comfort provides a unique experience through features that efficiently set the interior temperature such as a heated steering wheel, neck warmer, heated, cooled and massaging seats, as well as a panoramic glass roof that floods the cockpit with natural light.
Heated, ventilated and massaging, the sculpted DS N°8 seats with geometric and dynamic lines transform the cabin into a real cocoon of well-being. Slender and comfortable, they envelop the body in high-end and unprecedented comfort. Thanks to the adjustable side pads, each passenger in the front can adjust the seat to their morphology, creating a feeling of privacy and security.
Hidden in the headrest of the front seats and illuminated by a translucent backlit DS logo with a crystal look, DS NECK WARMER is inspired by jewellery to enhance the materials and the finesse of the seat. Its diffuser delicately warms the neck of passengers with an enveloping and comforting air, bringing a feeling of well-being subtly controlled as close as possible to the body.
For total immersion in sound, this 14-speaker system, complemented by a 690W amplifier, offers exceptional performance. Co-developed with FOCAL, each loudspeaker blends harmoniously into the aluminium door trim. Through this technology, the cockpit is turned into a real auditorium where three-dimensional sound creates an enveloping and immersive musical experience.
Fitted with the DS IRIS SYSTEM, DS N°8 elevates the driving experience to a new level of interaction and connectivity. On the dashboard, the large 16-inch screen stands out through its slim and airy look, almost appearing to float in the cabin. At the heart of a range of innovative connected services, DS IRIS SYSTEM includes advanced features such as real-time navigation, media management and dedicated apps, to combine comfort, safety and driving enjoyment.
Already particularly intuitive and responsive, DS IRIS SYSTEM voice recognition system integrates SoundHound Artificial intelligence powered by ChatGPT API.
