With 8 showrooms situated at Airside near Swords, a further 4 at Navan Road and our Bray dealership we are located close to the motorway network and easily accessible from all areas of Greater Dublin.
Each showroom has a dedicated Workshop with a total of 75 working ramps and an Aftersales team of more than 150 employees.
As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and strategic Head of Aftersales to lead our aftersales operations across the group.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping and driving aftersales performance across multiple sites. You will lead a high-performing team of managers, technicians, and parts professionals, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and revenue growth.
Role responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage aftersales department budgets to maximise profitability across all locations.
- Oversee all aftersales operations to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing aftersales team in line with the Group’s strategic objectives.
- Lead multi-site workshop operations, overseeing the workshop schedulers and job progress reports to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
- Utilise data and KPIs to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute innovative aftersales strategies to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively resolve process delays and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Continuously monitor and enhance service quality and customer experience.
- Strengthen supplier relationships for cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline dealership operations.
- Oversee the implementation and optimisation of systems and integrated communications across all locations.
- Partner with the Customer Relations team to ensure effective communication and positive customer feedback.
- Manage and review employee training and performance in conjunction with HR function.
- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment, upholding health & safety, and GDPR standards
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years’ experience in a medium or large enterprise within the Motor industry.
- A professional management qualification (e.g IMI) is highly desirable.
- A recognised Technician qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership in a service-led environment, preferably in automotive aftersales.
- Demonstrable success in achieving revenue and profit targets.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
- Team leadership, coaching, and performance development skills.
- Experience in change management and operational transformation.
- Proficiency in workshop planning and management systems; knowledge of Pinnacle or other dealer management systems is highly desirable.
- A passion for customer service and excellence in delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
