Bright Motor Group is currently recruiting a Trainee Service Advisor to represent the Hyundai brand at our Airside Dealership. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, customer-focused professional to build a rewarding career with one of Ireland’s leading motor retailer groups.
Role responsibilities:
Welcome customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
Assist customers via telephone, online and face to face.
Learn how to identify customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Schedule service appointments and manage workshop bookings.
Learn how to prepare accurate repair orders and job cards.
With the assistance of Service Advisor learn how to explain service recommendations, repair options, pricing and estimated completion times.
Ensure you understand that importance in obtaining customer approval before additional work is carried out.
Communicate with technicians and the workshop controller to gather information on repair progress.
Learn the importance of keeping customers informed of vehicle status and expected completion times.
Learn how to complete a proper handover to a customer after repair ensuring customers fully understand maintenance recommendations and future servicing requirements upon vehicle collection.
Support invoice processing and collect payments where required.
Support service appointments to maximise workshop productivity.
Leand and understand Manufacturer policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records within Pinnacle.
Ensure compliance with policies and manufacturer standards.
Contribute to achieving departmental customer satisfaction and financial targets.
Carry out any reasonable request as required by your Manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Experience in a customer service role.
A good level of IT/Computer skills is required.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
A commitment to providing excellent service.
Self-motivated, professional, and customer focused.
Maintains high standards in Health & Safety, GDPR, warranty compliance and audit readiness.
Valid full driving licence (essential).
