Sleekly sophisticated. Thanks to its EV-first design, the all-new KONA excels at aerodynamic performance without sacrificing style. Its sporty character is embodied by the rugged wheel arch cladding, building on the iconic design identity of the first KONA.
On the side, sharp diagonal parametric surfaces harmonise with the satin chrome moulding that slices through the belt line to sporty rear spoiler – creating a contour that wraps around the entire vehicle.
The dynamic styling of KONA Hybrid and KONA is accentuated with boldly sculpted wheel arch cladding in black, which incorporates both the headlamps and taillamps for a rugged look.
To improve aerodynamic performance, KONA Hybrid uses upper and lower active air flaps and KONA has an upper active air flap – This also lends an EV-like appearance to both while improving efficiency.

The elegantly curved panoramic display features two integrated screens for a high-tech look: a 12.3” infotainment touch screen and 12.3” digital cluster*.

Inside the roomy cockpit, the shift-by-wire gear selector has been moved from the centre console to behind the steering wheel, which allows more storage in the open console area.

Quick and easy – there’s a high-speed wireless charger pad in the centre console. There’s also a 12V power outlet and two USB-C ports (one with data support) for fast charging and universal compatibility. Electrifying efficiency: the all-new KONA Hybrid. The all-new KONA Hybrid uses electric power to help you go farther on a litre of petrol. All without you having to charge a battery or change your driving habits. Taking world-class fuel efficiency to the next level, it is equipped with both a petrol engine and a battery-powered electric motor: a full-parallel hybrid drive system. Regenerative braking charges the battery, so you don’t have to.
The 1.6 GDi direct injection petrol engine and battery-powered electric motor work together to deliver outstanding performance with a combined output of 141 HP/104 kw.
The 43 HP electric motor delivers high torque and high efficiency. It also delivers impressive acceleration when starting.
The all-new KONA Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds.

Pick your power and range. Depending on your mobility needs and performance wants, you can pick your power and preferred range: the 48.4 kWh battery with up to 377 km driving range. Or the 65.4 kWh version that delivers best-in-class range with up to 514 km on a single charge.

You can add 162 km of range in just 15 minutes at a DC fast charging point (101 kW) when equipped with the 65.4 kWh battery and 17” wheels.
The KONA Electric delivers sporty acceleration: going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds in the 17” wheel version equipped with the Long Range battery.
Cutting-edge safety and driver assistance systems. For added peace of mind, the all-new KONA has been equipped with the latest Hyundai Smart Sense – our cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. For the first time, the KONA Hybrid has been equipped with Highway Driving Assist – a combination of Lane Following Assist and Navigation Based Smart Cruise Control – it utilises sensors and map data to ensure safe operation as well as to automatically adjust speed.
Using radar in the lower rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and brake to prevent collision.
Sensing the road with radar and a camera, the system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead, or pedestrians and bikes on the road. When turning left at an intersection, it brakes if there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle.
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you if vehicles approach from the side – it also applies the brakes automatically.
The system uses an In Cabin Camera to analyse the driver’s face and, in the event of drowsiness or carelessness, alert them or intervene, if necessary.
