Hyundai Kona Exterior
Discover the dynamic new look. The striking new exterior design stands out through its sleek sophistication and eye-catching, protective cladding panels. The stretched bonnet ends sharply over the centre grille with its wide, distinctive shape giving the new Kona a more powerful look. Enhanced LED DRLs provide a narrow, piercing look to the road ahead.
The front.
The eye-catching new main bumper flows smoothly into the wheel arch claddings, forming a unique wrap-around armoured belt under the bold new grille.
The side.
The sporty silhouette is accentuated by the visual connection between the shoulder creases and the sharper, cleaner, more harmonious front end.
The rear.
The new rear bumper follows the protective armour concept of the front and sides – and is highlighted by the robust new metallic-coloured skid plate.

Performance
The new Kona reaches new heights in terms of performance and sustainability. A wide range of suspension and handling enhancements deliver a smoother ride and improved road control. The steering has also been fine-tuned to match the new suspension character and upgraded tyres provide better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
1.0 T-GDi petrol engine.
The 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine delivers 120 PS and is available with a 6-speed manual.
Ride and handling enhancements.
The new Kona has undergone tuning updates for a smoother ride. The springs, dampers, and stabilizer bars were modified for better ride comfort and isolation.
6-speed manual transmission.
The smooth-shifting 6-speed manual transmission is designed for fast, precise gearshifts.
Drive and terrain mode selector.
Snow or sand? Sport or Eco? You choose. You can easily switch drive modes to suit conditions – and your mood! Select Sport mode for enhanced performance with modified throttle response, shift points and steering effort. Eco mode delivers peak fuel efficiency with modified acceleration, shift points and air conditioning performance. Select Comfort mode for regular performance with good efficiency.
Safety

Lane Following Assist (LFA).
The new Kona features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 200 km/h on highways and city streets.
Rear Seat Alert.
The new Kona remembers if the rear doors were opened before you drove off. When you finish your drive, a message then pops up in the cluster accompanied by a warning tone to check the rear seat.
