Building on the design spirit of the original, multi-award-winning IONIQ 6 launched in 2022 – the new IONIQ 6 features more refined curves and enhanced proportions. The sleek and beautifully balanced silhouette has been reformed with the evolved design concept of ‘Pure flow, refined’.
The streamliner profile has been sharpened even further with a new elevated hood, extended shape and shark-nose design, creating a more dynamic profile that slices through the air.
The new IONIQ 6 features a smoother, more refined silhouette with the removal of the prominent upper spoiler of the 1st generation. The ducktail spoiler has been extended to maintain aerodynamic performance.
With the best aerodynamics in its class – an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.21 – and new larger batteries – the new IONIQ 6 is built to go farther, delivering very competitive range and performance
Enjoy the very best levels of illumination and safety with the updated Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS). Matrix beam LED technology provides variable light control to help secure everyone’s visibility.
New front and rear bumpers with sharp muscular lines and sculpted air intakes underline the strong proportions of the new IONIQ 6’s high-tech appearance.
The first thing that catches the eye in the front is the sleeker shark-nose design – with the hood diving into the slim new Daytime Running Lights – which now feature four thin lines of Parametric Pixel LEDs.
The new front bumper has been reshaped with sharp muscular lines and now holds the main Matrix LED headlamps. The sculpted chrome lower bumper line underlines the strong proportions of the new IONIQ 6.
Refreshed and refined, the new IONIQ 6’s cocoon-like cabin has also been updated to let passengers freely enjoy in-car life. The design upgrade maintains the ‘Mindful Cocoon’ concept, with a greater focus on a more comfortable and intuitive user experience.
Enjoy comfort and control – now updated in a three-spoke design – the interactive steering wheel features Parametric Pixel LEDs that signal the status of various vehicle systems.
Redesigned and completely refreshed for the new IONIQ 6, the frameless rear view mirror is a sleek new addition to the cockpit.
Elegantly minimalistic, the 12.3” digital cluster and 12.3” centre infotainment touchscreen are integrated in a single floating display for enhanced visibility and intuitive use.
Comfortable and practical, the centre console layout has been refined for improved functionality – and the heating and air-conditioning control display has been redesigned. The controls for the automatic climate control – fan speed, temperature, mode, etc. – have been centralised together in the lower touchpad for easier and more intuitive use.
With a new wireless charging pad and clever vertical slot for your smartphone, the centre console layout has been refined for more convenience with new cup holders, a new cable pathway for better usability and two USB-C ports – one of them with 100 watt charging capability.
A push of a button is all it takes. New toggle switches for the seat heating and seat ventilation are right at your fingertips in the redesigned centre console.

Human-centric from the start, IONIQ 6’s interior space was developed simultaneously with the exterior form. This integrated approach is an unconventional way of designing a car, but has yielded an exceptional result. Interior space has been maximised, stretching it at the front and rear – resulting in the unique streamliner silhouette and spacious interior with a wealth of clever details.
Inspired by the Prophecy Concept EV, the dome-shaped cabin is designed to be comfortable and practical – a personal hideaway-like space like a Mindful Cocoon.

Feel the speed. Interactive speed sensitive lighting in the front door shifts the brightness of the ambient lighting from 10% at 30 km/h to 100% at 100 km/h.
