​ELECTRIC DRIVING RANGE OF UP TO 64KM

Citroen C5 X Hybrid is suitable for most daily journeys. In electric mode, it offers:

• A driving range of between 64km (depending on the options fitted to the car and the actual conditions of use)
• Quiet driving up to 135km/h
• Environmentally-friendly driving with 0 g/km of CO2 emissions

The Citroen C5 X Hybrid battery is guaranteed for eight years or 160,000 km for 70% of it's charging capacity.​

100% EFFICIENT

Easy hybrid driving, dynamic, relaxing and smooth:

• 180 hp of power with the combustion engine and 81.2 kW (110hp) with the electric motor for a combined power of 225 hp and a combined torque of 360 Nm
• Four driving modes:Electric, Hybrid, Comfort and Sport
• Consumption from 1.3L/100 km for CO2 emissions from 29 g/km (in WLTP cycle)
• Consumption optimised by daily charging
• Brake mode which recovers energy for the battery during braking and deceleration.

QUICK AND PRACTICAL DAILY CHARGING

There are multiple charging solutions available for Citroen C5 X Hybrid:

• Wall Box: With the optional mode 3 cable, it recharges from 0% to 100% in 3 hours 25 minutes or in 1 hour 40 minutes with the 7.4 kW on-board charger
• Standard socket: The battery charges to 100% in 7 hours 5 minutes, or overnight, with the standard mode 2 cable (Recommended for emergency use only).

100 kW terminals are not compatible with Citroen C5 X Hybrid.

FOUR DRIVING MODES

The toggle button on the central console allows you to choose the driving mode: Electric, Hybrid, Comfort or Sport. Control of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension continuously adapts to each driving mode.

• Electric: The car has a driving range of up to 64 km, suitable for most users’ daily journeys. All representing distance travelled without consuming fuel.
• Hybrid: The vehicle manages the electric motor and ICE automatically for optimum efficiency.
• Comfort: Based on Hybrid mode, this driving mode offers additional flexibility thanks to Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension.
• Sport: C5 X Hybrid offers dynamic performance thanks to the electric motor, which boosts the petrol engine for combined power of 225 hp. Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension is therefore firmer for better road-holding.

SIMPLE CHARGING

Citroën C5 X Hybrid is characterised by its very easy charging:

• The charging cables are stored in a dedicated space under the boot floor.
• The charging hatch, located to the rear left of the car, includes an LED indicator to track the charging process, which can also be viewed remotely on the My Citroën app.
• When the car is travelling in electric mode, a blue indicator light comes on under the central rear-view mirror, clearly visible from outside, in order to be visible in traffic, particularly in city centres with restricted access.
• Charging can be programmed from the touchscreen or the My Citroën app, to take advantage of off-peak rates, for example.

INTUITIVE INTERFACE 

Screens dedicated to C5 X Hybrid

Citroen C5 X plug-in hybrid version has screens dedicated to driving in electric mode:

• The digital display shows the charging status and battery life and allows access to the power indicator and energy flows.
• The touchscreen displays the system's operating status, the settings for deferred battery charging, pre-heating and the e-save function, which lets you keep enough battery power to drive a predefined distance in 100% electric mode. When C5 X Hybrid is charging, the screen displays the time remaining to achieve a full charge, for example.​
