The driving position of Citroën C5 X is elevated by its higher ground clearance compared with a traditional hatchback and large diameter wheels (720 mm).

Citroën C5 X features Citroën’s new V-shaped light signature at the front and rear, introduced on C4.
Standing out from the crowd and immediately recognisable as a Citroën, it is visible by day and by night, setting off the distinguished lines of Citroën C5 X.
This high-tech light signature incorporates LED headlamps across the range.

A Citroën exclusive designed to recreate the flying-carpet effect of iconic Citroëns, to overcome obstacles, potholes, speed bumps and other road features, the Citroën Advanced Comfort® suspension naturally equips Citroën C5 X.
The plug-in hybrid version of the C5 X further improves comfort by offering, as a world first, the Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension, combining Progressive Hydraulic Cushions® with active suspension control. The vehicle adapts the suspension of each wheel to be softer or firmer depending on the conditions encountered.
Sensors analysing the road and its irregularities transmit information to a computer which continuously determines the correct configuration to ensure maximum comfort for all occupants.
As well as ESP sensors, the controlled suspension has vertical position and wheel-speed sensors to analyse vehicle body movements and driving rhythm.
Handling of the suspension provides both complete comfort when flying over the road on straight sections and precise handling on bends.
Designed with a lounge feel, the interior of Citroën C5 X exudes technology and on-board space thanks to its generous volumes and sharp lines.
The refined surfaces and attention to the smallest detail create a feeling of well-being. The numerous parts, which appear to be floating thanks to the indirect lighting, add lightness and elegance.
The Advanced Comfort seats in Citroën C5 X are the benchmark for seating comfort, making you feel like you’re at home in your living room. They offer a unique welcome and visual comfort thanks to special padding, like a mattress topper. Dynamic and postural comfort is provided by a high-density fabric and thickened structured foam, ensuring you feel relaxed even after the longest journeys.
Roominess was one of Citroën’s main concerns when designing C5 X. At the front, the comfortable seats and the uncluttered dashboard provide a vast and open living space.
Each passenger has an invitation to rest and relax, with exceptional legroom, comfortable width and generous headroom. A real invitation to travel in absolute comfort.
Roominess is further enhanced by the brightness of the 360-degree windows around the car, including rear quarter panel windows, and a large glass sunroof that allows light to flood in whenever required.
The acoustics of Citroën C5 X have been particularly carefully designed, in order to perfect the on-board tranquillity and transform journeys into real moments of relaxation.
The acoustic laminated front and rear windows offer exceptional insulation from outside noise.
Citroen C5 X has a generous boot, designed with the feel of an estate, with a wide and square opening, a low loading threshold and straight sides. It also provides a flat floor when the rear seat is folded down.
The Extended Head Up Display projects all the key driving information onto the windscreen directly in the driver’s field of vision, in full colour and large dimensions.
This innovation, which can be configured and modified by the driver using the steering wheel controls, enhances driving safety and peace of mind as it is no longer necessary to look away from the road to check information on speed and functioning of driver-assistance systems, connected navigation or media and phone management.
Particularly suitable on dual-carriageways and motorways, this function allows the driver to partially delegate driving.
Simply select a target speed of 30 km/h or above and the system will then record the position of C5 X in the lane, meaning the driver no longer needs to manage speed or steering.
For the Highway Driver Assist function to remain active, the driver’s hands must be kept on the wheel. And, of course, the driver can resume driving at any time.
Citroen C5 X inaugurates a brand new connected, intuitive communication interface which can be fully customised thanks to a system of widgets. It allows you to view your favourite apps and content on the display and on the car's 12" touchscreen. In addition to the 12" HD touchscreen, Citroen C5X is equipped with four type C USB sockets and wireless charging for smartphones.
